WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF FINANCE APPROVAL VEHICLE INSPECTION?

Finance Approval Vehicle Inspection serves two different purposes.

The first purpose is an independent assessment of the car you want to purchase to ensure the vehicle matches the description and the agreed price you are happy to pay.

In many cases, the used car is not worth the price tag or is faulty and is likely to give you issues after purchase. This will be a big loss especially if money is scarce and you are taking the finance just because of some financial issues.

We will assess the vehicle for you and report all the identified issues and potential problems you might face before you take out the finance policy.

The second purpose is similar but it is only for the loan provider to ensure the vehicle matches the description you have given them.

We will issue you a professional condition report to give to the finance company for that purpose which includes all legal information of the car and the potential issues found.

WHAT TYPES OF VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORTS DO WE ISSUE?

After the car inspection, you will receive a written report more or less similar to our sample report. It indicates what we have checked on the car and the summary of all the identified faults which is what the loan company is after.

Last Check is an Australian Registered Vehicle Inspection Company and our reports can be used for all repair, finance and legal proposes in Australia.

Whether you are getting your car finance from a car loan broker or directly from the lender, you can send them our independent vehicle inspection report to get the ball rolling.

You will receive lots of pictures taken from the car at the time of inspection as well as a vehicle history report which you can save as evidence of the condition at the time of inspection.

In some cases, the lender provides their own form to fill in which we can assist as well. At a small additional charge, we will fill in their report paper, endorse it and email it back to you.

The paper will be endorsed under Last Check Australian Company Number (ACN) and not a person to ensure the validity of the report is not disturbed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE ARRANGING A CAR LOAN INSPECTION

Before arranging a car loan approval inspection, you need to check with the lender to see what requirements they have before approving your finance.

You should check with them whether they accept our report or they want you to fill in their own car inspection report form.

As an average, 99 percent of all lenders accept Last Check’s reports but rarely we see some lenders wanting their own condition report filled in. that condition report is normally limited to one or two pages with their own details on the letterhead.

If the finance company requires their own condition report to be filled in, you need to check with us before arranging the inspection in case there is an issue.

We have never had any issues with filling in the third party condition report however as that condition report has legal values, we need to make sure that we can meet all their requirements.

If you want to book online or book after hours and you have no one to speak to, you can simply book online and give us a call the next day and send us the lender’s report to see if everything is good.

If for any reason we can not meet their requirement, we will issue you a full refund.

As mentioned above we have never rejected any condition report from lenders but it is just a precaution to ensure we are not wasting your money for the inspection.

WHAT TYPES OF FINANCE APPROVAL CAR INSPECTIONS DO WE OFFER?

Last Check offers two types of pre-finance car inspections.

One is the normal inspection which gives you all you need to send to the lender to get your finance approved. The normal car inspection is cheaper and gives you up to 300 point check.

If your car is a 4WD, an Electric Car, Hybrid Car or a Campervan, you can simply book the normal inspection for each one in their own dedicated service pages.

If you have any normal cars then you can just book the normal finance approval inspection on this page.

We also offer Premium Original Car Inspection which gives you 500+ Point check. This service is our premium plan, gets done by TWO qualified vehicle inspectors and uses a real computer belonging to the car rather than just a normal OBD2 Scanner to diagnose the hidden faults of the engine.

One inspector physically inspects the vehicle and another inspector analyses the super-advanced computer scanning data at the office which might take up to another 4 hours before releasing the results.

The original computer checks all vehicles modules, diagnoses the faults on the spot and gives you the engine performance live data to ensure the engine is healthy internally and there will be no surprises.
